Snowboard like you mean it!!!!

Winter holidays are here, daaaaaaaamn! Levi is completely packed with people. Compared to last year there are alot more britts. We got a crazy amount of teachers and everyone is teaching big groups of people. I get kinda stressed when people keep running into eachother and random tourists wanna beat you up when you "cut in line" with your student even if you got priority. You'd be surprised how much time some people spend complaining on their holiday.
Do people forget that when you're on holiday you shouldn't be in a hurry.
My board broke and they don't have do Buck Up in stock anymore so new board again I guess.
However I was thinking of writing a review on the Buck Up, just for the fun of it.
After a seriously nasty workweek we leave for Björkliden with Kaarle, to search for some fine lines.

Introspect - Iouri Podladtchikov

Went snowboarding today and my ribs are feeling almost ok. On landings I have to concentrate super hard on landing as soft as I can. Then again the weather was really bad for park riding, pretty much the usual snowfall combined with strong winds. But I got some nice pow runs done so it wasn't all bad.

This is a short clip about Iouri Podladtchikov, one of the best pipe riders in the world. He seems to have a really cool way of looking at his life.

Vin Diesel and other random stuff!

Alot of you prolly saw this already but I gotta say, this is sooo random in a good way. Vin Diesel kinda partying alone because Riddick is doing great and sending his thanks to his fans, by dancing?

So alot of stuff happened at X-Games with (the) Parrot taking the gold in both slopestyle and big air.
I think it's getting more and more booring to watch the X-Games since it's just more and more acrobatics every year. If someone does something new that isn't a tripple, they don't get the points they disserve. This is why the next clips are my favorite ones from X-Games. If you haven't seen them before pay attention to his boots with LED lights in the Nike Logo.





I know I'm a traitor but I actually bought skiing boots, since the boots we got at work are really bad.
Since I made this smooth transition to skiing I wanna show you this.

So what's been happening here? Not much, been super cold earlier this month and after that it's been snowing almost every day. Due to the light there is not point in filming that much we filmed some really scetchy runs that I might edit into some small clip just for the fun of it. This week i've bee sick. For some reason without crashing or anything my injury from before christmas got really bad again and my ribs hurt like crazy.
I did go swimming yesterday which helped abit so gonna do that again today and maybe I'll be fine to ride on the weekend.

It's soo booring to just be at home and try to recover, it's a good thing it's no big injury, I think!
I guess I'll just watch another movie...

So it took me a while but now it's done.
Special for this video is that we got guest riders Mikko Takamaa and local hero/pro snowboarder Nuutti Niemelä in it.
Adobe Premiere is actually really fast to use once you get the hang of it, this took me about 20 hours to do cos I watched alot of tutorials on youtube. Now it would take me just a few hours if I did it non stop. Now it's time to go shredding since it's my day off, which means it's -32 outside, good times....

Kinda getting used to Adobe Premiere at this point but it's still kinda slow. I made this Testpiece out of a few runs we filmed during the first parkday this season. Let me know what you think.
Oh, and the pageviews just crushed the 10k mark which is awesome.

Happy New Wednesday!

Went to see the annual fireworks at the frontslope. Was prolly really awesome, maybe abit too awesome since the smoke got really thick and at some point you couldn't really see that much of the fireworks. Gonna post pictures of the smoke later :D Been working 15 hours yesterday and today so still no time to finish the edit. :( Still working on it whenever I can. Happy new year!
